The answer is obvious: because nuclear power _is_ too expensive. It is uneconomic, without vast government subsidies.

claims that nuclear power is not too expensive. Well, if it really isn't, then why has no private company tried to build a nuclear power plant over the last decade, in our de-regulated energy market?
