Hello – I'm not sure of the academic standard; it may help your insomnia. I am 60 yrs old and have been a senior international financial assets manager, investment banker, infrastructure engineer and policy regulator, so I have previously gained a variety of degrees and professional qualifications; my reason for taking the MSc (dauntingly raising the average age by 4 decades single-handedly) was specifically to learn about climate strategies.

Please let me know your thoughts

Dear Rupert,

Apologies for unsolicited comms. I have just completed research at UCL into climate mitigation action, under novel analyses employing infrastructure engineering methods and industry leaders.

Its findings are very bleak for different reasons than in conventional narratives. It shows, weakness in social science, IPCC methodology errors, and why climate activism in current form will fail

My background is international engineering, financial markets trading & regulation, so this was more for my children's generation than mine!

I'm not seeking any return for it. Its framework is very different to mainstream thinking, and identifies action paths that meet objections & hurdles – climate sceptics, economic, tech, socio-ethical – so I would hope reading it may be of interest to you.

I have a lot of respect for your efforts and activism, and would like to contribute. It was very disappointing for me to find failures in all climate action drivers.

Please do let me know if you think it might interest you.

All best

Ra Sharma
