Glad you recognised that MacShane is, how shall we put it, less than fair minded here.

However, Farage did state at the Foreign Press Association event that over 10 years he had received give or take about £2,000,000 in expenses.

That will be £200,000 p.a. Including staff costs, basic office costs, travel between home and Brussels/Strasbourg and so on.

Ask Ms Lucas how much she has recived over the same time, as a hard working member my guess it will be much the same. The difference is that Farage is open about it.

Oh, we did the math on MacShane. In the same period he has claimed (in th esame way) £1.6 million, and his doesn't have to travel to Brux/Stras and ony has central Rotherham, rather than the whole SE to deal with.
