UEA Philosophy in Top Twenty

The Guardian University Guide for 2011 has just come out. UEA has leapt 16
places to Number 19
http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2010/jun/04/university-league-tabl
e
which makes mine a top 20 institution.

And philosophy as a subject has moved up 9 places from 23 to 14
http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2010/jun/04/university-guide-philo
sophy

which makes mine a top 20 department.

I studied post-grad at UEA and found it to be a vastly over-rated institution, full of the self-congratulating middle classes, who weren't actually very bright at all.

I've since discovered this is true in many walks of life.

But well done, if you think it means anything. I didn't think you lot were in favour of league tables, but then again see my point above.

Its true, I don't think League Tables are the bees knees. But I don't think they are meaningless either.
As for the rather crude point you seem to be trying to make against me in your comment - I think that reflects more on you than it does on me.
