UKIP vs. Green: scientific illiteracy and random threats of libel vs. sound science

David Campbell-Bannerman, a Euro-MP for Eastern England and UKIP's Deputy Leader is caught on tape nodding and then appearing to affirm more than once that he thinks believing in climate change is "a cult". He also claims that the ice on Venus is melting too (average temperature 500 degrees C) and that "the astrologer" Patrick Moore told him it's OK, because it's all something to do with the sun. Filmed at the European Election hustings of the PCS union, Eastern region, 14th May 2009, Norwich.
