Greenman and I have been debating issues on Ian Dales blog for days now. Anyone else want to have a go?

One man believes Greens are responsible for more 50 million deaths, more than Hitler, and he quotes Crightons state of fear fiction to back it up. Its to do with DDT.

Yes, I've been reading it. My other blog is on the list.

Tricky thing, Science. All evidence must be interpreted. And we can never be sure that we have all the evidence. Any interpreation must be made through the belief system of the interpreter and that will have been subject to accepted conventional wisdom.

The people you are debating with feel threatened because you are challenging their beliefs. They have done themselves no favours though. Time to butt out, I think?

Incidentally the 3 grey parties are not Centre parties. The centre ground of british politics is at present a greenfield site waiting to be developed. Some greens are already there, but others cling to outmoded concepts and definitions that spark the type of conflict and accusations seen on that blog.

I may do a post on this. I will do a post on this.
